Depression is an umbrella term.
It could point to any number of things.
It could relate to circumstances.
It could relate to the whimsical nature of feelings that have a capricious way of coming and going with no rhyme or reason.
It could relate to inherent temperament.
It could be a message, trying to tell you something, perhaps something that you are yearning for.
